I want to do Carriage and Horses justice. I’m saddened I can’t because the limit is 5 stars. I was fortunate to travel extensively on corporate credit cards. I ate well at well reviewed establishments. Carriage Horses is among the very best if not the best. My wife and I couldn’t have enjoyed our dinner more. Oh, we each had the filet lobster tail. ok food great shrimp cocktail, good salad, steak was over cooked. Owner seems to think everyone finds his sense of humor acceptable, not so with me. Insults me twice, let it slide due to company. I suppose he thought it was funny View all feedback.
We had an excellent dinner at Carriage and Horses and outstanding service. The owner was very attentive and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to have dinner there again on our next visit to the area.
An exceptionally great experience. My mom and I found this hidden gem (quite literally) while exploring pine mountain. We gave it a shot with low expectations, and was blown away. A very tasty filet for a price that couldn’t be beat, wonderful staff, and a very welcoming owner. I even left my credit card and Dagher went out of his way to mail it to me. We will be back!
The owner Dagher is the best and truly loves what he does. You can tell by how unique this place is. Have a quiet romantic dinner among the horses with some amazing wine you won’t regret it.
THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! Dagher the owner, chef, host, entertainer was extraordinary! He was so funny going to every table and making everyone laugh. He had one big table that was a regular of his and they treated him like family and him the same. He sat with them and fit right in. He did it all. Incredible perfectly charred steak, with reduction sauce, garlic and butter sautéed greenbeans, carrots so sweet and tender and mash potatoes to bring it all together. I swear I will drive an hour and a half to go back there again. Our waitress Fionna was a breath of fresh air and such a perfect addition to our beautiful experience. She was so attentive and charming. I also had the best Malbec I have ever tasted. I mean I just can't give this restaurant enough stars nor quit talking about it. I feel like I need to get in my car right now by just thinking about it. Don't you miss this special place!
The owner is genuinely delightful and the food fantastic. This was a lovely experience all the way around!
