Stopped for breakfast on the way to TN. First time here but wanted to try it out since the reviews were excellent! The food didn’t disappoint. My husband had the western omelet and even though it was huge he cleaned his plate so of course it was good. I had a bacon egg cheese biscuit with a side of hash browns and wow that biscuit was big and soft and oh so good. Will definitely be stopping back by when down this way... View all feedback.
The food and service are excellent. The portions are plentiful. The employees are extremely pleasant and courteous. If you are ever in Mccreary County, Kentucky especially the Pine Knot area, I highly recommended taking the time to stop in and grab a bite to eat at the Ole Country Cafe. My favorite is their seafood platter.
We have family that lives in the area, so make it a point to eat here whenever we visit. Very reasonably priced and the food is great! Service is super friendly like they've known you your whole life. Restaurant is cute inside with country themed decor and so clean (even the restrooms). A couple of big, round tables, too, which are nice when you have a larger group. Great place to get fried balogna, if that's your thing. The country ham is delicious. I was looking for something healthier and their veggie omelet hit the spot (I chose to leave off the cheese, but it comes with it). Locally owned, so give them your business. You'll be glad you did!
Great restaurant. Great staff and food. And takeout is fine. Always hot and fresh. Hope the pandemic goes by and you can resume better operations having the seating back open.

The people are like family and we have gone there now for years and never had a bad experience. Love the food and love the way they treat you like family.
