The food was delicious… but not hot. The wait staff was great very nice but not very attentive. We waited for close to 30 minutes before I had to get up let them know we were waiting. Granted they were apologetic and offered to make amends, they gave us a free appetizer (the cheapest one I’ll add) but they made some gesture to make amends. What User doesn't like about Jolly Onion:
The staff was friendly and accommodating when it came to food allergies, and the menu offered a decent variety of options. However, some of the appetizer prices felt a bit high for what was served. Additionally, there was only one gluten-free dessert option available, which was just ice. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. View all feedback.
Good was great. the waitress was very nice and fast with service.

Dined here this past Sat. Our waitress started out great and on point, but after taking our order and delivering drinks, she disappeared. Food runners brought our food to the table. The food was pretty good, but some of it was cold. Never saw our waitress again, had to go to the bar to get another round of drinks, which the bartender then brought to our table and then also had to drop off our check. It seemed like the bartender had to become the waitress for that room as she was running from table to table after that. Maybe something happened where our waitress had to leave unexpectedly, who knows, but it would have been nice if someone told us if that was the case. As I mentioned, the food was pretty good, but not particularly hot or even warm. Drinks were fabulous and the bartender who took over was very nice and you could tell she was trying her best to accommodate the room on her own.
Food and drinks were very good. Bartender was excellent, not hovering but checked on us when needed. Not expensive for the meal we had. Classic veal schnitzel was the best.
Wasn’t expecting there to be a band; VERY LOUD. Food quality has definitely slipped since we last dined there. They messed up our order, and the food ranged from tepid to cold. The spaetzle, which was delicious last time, was almost inedible. They did honor our reservation with our special seating request; we were seated promptly despite a line of customers. But overall, it will be a while until we go back.
