What an absolute gem of a place and people in Kilkenny! Even though it was out of season, they graciously accommodated us and introduced us to hurling! We had an awesome afternoon despite the rain, and dried off in the beautiful pub afterwards. Highlight of our trip for sure! View all feedback.
Was part of an optional tour of Trafalgar, so worth it!! Great talented musicians, the owner and his staff are very friendly and we had the best fries in Ireland! Thanks for a memorable time!
This was an optional stop on our Trafalgar tour. Absolutely a wonderful time. Highlights include hurling lesson, music dancing, and pouring your own Kilkenny (beer). If you are in the area, you must stop and check it out for yourself! Best experience
Amazing family run pub! Such a warm and friendly atmosphere!!! Music is banging and live performances were so entertaining , beautiful interiors. Please do come here!

What a wonderful experience we had when we visited Malzards Pub as part of our Ireland tour. The host was incredibly welcoming, and spent time explaining the intricacies of hurling to a group of Aussies. Adrian the entertainer had us singing and laughing from his first jaunty number to the last. Our lunch, this time provided by a local cafe was an excellent pie and salad. Overall a wonderful experience in a lovely Irish Pub.
