Lovely spot for lunch whilst visiting Kilkenny. Good choice on the menu. The staff were very efficient and there was no waiting for service. The busker singing Simon and garfunkel songs was an added bonus. View all feedback.

I love the food here, the chorizo sausage rolls are superb, as is the brie focaccia bap, and the coffee is lovely. But the service is so incredibly slow. On more than one occasion I have left the que for takeaway after 20/30 minutes as the que isn't moving. I appreciate the space is tight but the staff are always hectic, falling over each other, spilling things on each other, snipping at each other, and it's only got... View all feedback.

Good vegetarian and vegan options. they also have white hot chocolate, which is great!
Had eaten in the Yard café this afternoon. had the goat cheese and the beeteroot special and a really nice gluten-free carrot cake. the best carrot cake I've eaten for a long time. my partner had a delicious huh pesto panini and very good americano. big busker next to us also in the atmosphere. the girl that served us was also very friendly. would definitely recommend.

In this lovely cafe at a great spot in the city centre of beautiful kilkenny we found staff that was extremely welcoming, a menu with great sandwiches, the best Thai curry soup ever and great coffees. Thumbs up for the atmosphere, the interior and the owners/staff.
