What Lelah Quigley dislikes about Fish Joint:
The food is pretty good, but our service was not. The waiter we had acted like he was rushing us. The place was not even busy. They are also offering free beer. Our waiter did not even tell us about it. We heard a waitress tell another family who wasordering. Our waiter never told us about it. View all feedback.

Stopped in here for a bite while out riding motorcycles during a visit to my North Texas friends. I was looking for something non-chain. Damn, I was impressed. Super friendly, excellent starters and a really good fish sandwich for lunch. Skip all the'usual' stuff and make an effort, go here instead!! My only regret? I didn't take any photos!!

We finally tried and rewarded this place. In an area that is not blessed with many good sit down restaurants, this place is a jewel. My wife and I stopped for lunch today. I was the strange man and got a cheeseburger (in a fishfield) after the owner (probably) said that the burgers were really good and she was not a joke. The burger was made as GOOD burgers are done. Beautiful piece of fresh beef, a plate of genuine Cheddar cheese, all vegetables on a roasted bungalow. My wife said that her catfish and shrimp were very delicate and tasteful. We have both riders with our orders, and they were the beautiful thick plates that you rarely get anywhere. Yum. The whole restaurant was impeccable and beautifully decorated. This place could be used as educational experience for all budding restorers, for how things are done...did I mentioned it was immaculate and well organized? This will be a goal for us from now on. We are happy to find a good place for every variety of food in our new area, we now have a fish and burger place. Look at her, you'll thank me.
This restaurant serves the best catfish I’ve ever tasted! I highly recommend it!

My wife and I stopped in for a catfish basket. We enjoyed the food, and the friendly service! The corn fritters were tasty too! The owner/manager greeted another couple by welcoming them back, and confirmed where they last sat in the restaurant and remembered they were in the real estate business. It is good to have great choices in the Aubrey/Pilot Point/Celina triangle.
