They remind me of growing up in South Jersey. Mel's is two thumbs up diner vibe. The staff is down to earth, knowledgeable friendly. The menu is pretty extensive and my son's grilled cheese was a two thumbs up, my husband's burger was a hit my club was delicious. A diner that lives up to its reputation when we're back in town we will return. Check it out!

We were part of a large group and were able to sit in two booths right next to each other. I ordered the pulled BBQ pork, while the kids had cheeseburgers and fries with mac and cheese. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but it went by quickly. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that they could improve their cleanliness a bit. I would definitely return!

When it was time to go, she even provided plastic utensils for us to take our leftovers back to the hotel.
