We went to this restaurant for the first time. And I have to tell the truth, I'm happy to play with you. The waiters. Always available and the food is excellent. Just a small flaw and a little narrow but I hope you can widen it. See you soon. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

I had to put a star but the food, service and environment deserve below zero. We were lured to the gates of the Holy City by a guy, who turned out to be one of the waiters, who advertised the place as a place where you can eat homemade, excellent quality products. They led us into a car park in front of the venue and after leaving a deposit (mandatory) we headed to the church and then returned later. We chose the €23 menu and an appetizer arrived made up of a few cured meats that you can only find at the discount store, a mozzarella combined with a whole tomato and two invisible pieces of omelette. Disappointed by this start, we focus everything on the first course, but a pasta with cream and sausage arrives which turns out to be acidic and inedible and a pasta with tomato which, despite being simple to prepare, was vomiting. All the dishes come back and the waiter doesn 't even bother to ask why. Having arrived at the second course, the grilled mix, we found meat comparable to the sole of our shoes, raw pork and a hair on the plate... all surrounded by French fries that seemed to have been cooked who knows how many times in dirty oil. Disappointed by the lunch, we go to the cashier to pay, where we are greeted by the owner who, after listening to my complaints, charges full price and disappears to get his waiters back. Moral of the story: we went on an empty stomach and left the place with an empty stomach and disgusted . Finally, after talking about the food and the waiters who had no skills, all I have to do is say the last words on the location, a place transformed into a restaurant, with sheet metal and a fan in an outdoor room which in the height of summer served to make us take a sweat bath This review corresponds not only to my experience but also to that of the diners at the tables that surrounded me, I hope it can be useful to the owner in order to make improvements and so that a pilgrim can return there, also because, now, it is a place frequented by few and only pilgrims who return regularly. At that price you don 't expect gourmet cuisine, but not even inedible dishes as if they were cooked by a bricklayer who improvises as a chef for a day.
