Unfriendly owner, nearly only customers in the entire restaurant- even though they told us to be fully booked- which was not true, does not like dogs, mediocre food quality and not really delivered hot, done in 45 min, therefore much too expensive and not at all customer oriented, nothing to be recommended!! My daughters are going in August! The owner, Simone is my cousin a wonderful chef! You must go Back of postcard, given by my uncle, states: A brown awning, a glass door and a lamp on a small table that lights up the entrance in the evening. No sign except a small marble plaque with the inscription il Posto . To find this new place, in Pietrasanta, you have to stand in front of the arch of Porta a Pisa, from where you enter the historical centre, and look at the sea. The environment is refined but simple; has the ability to accommodate 50 lovers of good food and art. And, in fact, works of art by contemporary artists are exhibited on the walls and in the niches (Giò Pomodoro, Igor Mitoraj, Kan Yasuda, V. Tarabella, Vito Tongiani, G. Culla, Ivan Theimer)
Refinement and professionalism are your guiding thread. peaceful and welcoming environment that allows you to enjoy an evening to remember over time. If there will be the opportunity we will definitely return.

Il Posto is a superb Italian SeaFood Restaurant. The fish choices were impressive Turbot,Sea Bass, John Dory, Monkfish, Tuna. All in season and fresh. We found the food to be decent value for the quality and service was exceptional. There is no outdoor space in this restaurant and the location is t particularly appealing because it’s right on the road. But it’s worth venturing inside.
