Did a bit of search on Tripadvisor and fell upon this restaura... read more We booked a hotel in Pietrasata for a short getaway and had not booked the restaurant beforehand. Did a bit of search on Tripadvisor and fell upon this restaurant. It turned out to be 3 min walk from the hotel. We were the first guests to arrive as we like to eat early. The service was really good (one of the perks of being the first guests and the food very tasty, well presented and good size portions (to consider if you eat a full Italian dinner... ! We were recommended wine with the food and it was a good choice from the sommelier. If we are heading that way again, we will surely stop there again.

Anyone who complains about portion size might be used to American sized portions, which nobody needs!

Plates are well presented but flavours are missing and even expensive dishes are served with no dressing or salt for the salad (catalana di crostacei €42.00). On the plus side wines by the glass are good and they accommodated a very good pasta alle vongole for our child that was not on the menu. Other local venues offer better dishes for less, I can not recommend.

We had the 5 dishes menu Terra, we waited 1 h between the first and the second dish. The taste of these two first dishes was bad but when the 3rd came (pasta! it was the cherry on the cake: the pasta was over cooked ! The salsa sour, the taste discusting. We decided to leave the restaurant as nothing about this restaurant was positive.
