From the welcoming to the fresh hot bread dipped in oil and balsamic .then the mussels came ... HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH !! But most of all our host Nora was super Sweet and Genuine .. you could tell she loves her job .. you'll be lucky to be served by her and casa mare is lucky to have her! Will definitely be coming back soon for those amazing mussels !! For once I eat out and it actually literally tastes "HOME MADE "!!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Casa Mare:
Why is it so hard to make good pizza. it appears that no one is capable on the West-Island...We had an X-Large All dressed with a pepperoni calzone...sauce was decent but rest very average...Nice pleasant welcome when you enter the restaurant. But place is old and could definitely use a little reno...sorry but not returning for takeout pizza. We are continuing our quest for a good pizza on the West-Island...missing A... View all feedback.
Thanks to all the staff to welcome our family group this afternoon. all enjoyed the reception and food. Thank you.
Excellent service, food was delicious and portions were huge, enough for lunch the next day.
Amazing food, amazing and friendly staff that doesn't play around. Definitely recommend!
Very good! Excellent food the specials on the chalkboard offered an excellent selection of dishes (I would suggest mostly ordering off those specials, not the fixed menu, which isn't that impressive... and given the specials that's fine I picked the chef's selection for dessert and got a lobster tail (laminated pastry filled with mascarpone), which was particularly excellent.Decor was nice and thematic, though my one complaint is that the dining room is quite reverberant and not acoustically treated much, so it can get rather loud despite the small space/seat count.
Garbage, rude service and subpar food. Pastas aren't made in house and apparently cutlery is hard to attain via take out.
