The waitress who greeted us was very pleasant, but it was clear she was overwhelmed. After being seated, we discovered that several items on the menu were unavailable, though fortunately, we didn't plan to order any of those. However, after looking over the menu a bit longer, we were informed that it would take at least an hour to receive our food. The restaurant was only about half full, with most customers already served. We were a bit puzzled by the wait time and, not wanting to wait over an hour for our meals, decided to try another place. The waitress was lovely, and it seemed like they were experiencing a staffing shortage. Given our experience and the fact that we ended up leaving, I have to rate it two stars.

Cortado was recommended to us by a local resident, and it certainly lived up to the recommendation. The service was quick and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We ordered a pizza, which was quite good—solid compared to many we’ve had in other countries. We noticed other diners ordering the beef and chips served on a hot stone, which looked fantastic, and there were no leftovers at those tables. If we ever return, we would definitely be tempted to try that. Overall, it was a very welcoming place to have dinner.
