To wash it all down, she offers a refreshing hibiscus drink called Aqua de Jamaica, which is simply delightful and tastes freshly brewed at only $1.25 a glass. I recommend arriving early, as the food tends to sell out quickly. I’m really glad to have found this hidden gem at the market, but be sure to check the hours before heading over, as the pop-up is only open on select Saturdays throughout the month. Absolutely never again. The experience was baffling. There was no place to wash my hands or use the restroom. Why is that? And what were those strange, gelatinous items on the menu?
