This is my family's favorite place for Indian cuisine! My go-to dish is the veggie Korma, which is absolutely amazing! The prices are really reasonable for such delicious food, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
You know what? The first three times I visited this restaurant for takeout, I didn’t have any issues, which is why I'm giving them two stars. However, during my most recent visit, the lady at the counter was incredibly difficult to deal with. She ignored my questions and even forgot my rice. When I asked which dish was less spicy, she just pointed to all of them. I tried to communicate which one was very spicy using hand gestures, and she simply replied that all of them were spicy. I thought, "Wow, does she not want to sell today?" Anyway, I miss the friendly lady who used to serve us; she always greeted us with a smile. The food is good, but that one bad experience really overshadowed everything else! I ultimately tolerated the attitude because I was starving!
The curry hat is good to me about the yrs. You never seem to have Garbanzos. The food service is inconsistent. Since the opening in 2016 we have come here. Wish the business a lot of success. Steam table feed. Good price. Serve well. Pakora always burned and very salty where I can eat it. I no longer command it.. was a heavy rule here, I stop like 5x a yr now start in 2019-current... fyi Curry time in el monte is crazy gooodd. ...
I've been coming here for five years. It used to be my favorite place for Friday night dinners after work, my top choice for Indian cuisine. However, the prices have increased while the quality has declined. Additionally, the last two times I visited, I was served by a young woman with green eyes who was extremely rude. I will not be returning.
Ya know what?? The first 3 times I visited this place to take my food To Go, I had not one problem, that's why I'll give them a 2 stars. This time that I went, little lady here has the most difficult attitude to work with, ignores what I was asking her,and even forgot my rice. I asked which one was less spicy, she pointed at all of them. I asked, which is very spicy, with handgestures, and she responded all of them. I was like, dang ma lady, you dont want to sell today huh!! But anyways I miss theother lady, she was always so friendly and gave us a smile. The food is good, just that one bad apple rotten the rest! I justput up with attitude because I was STARVING!
**Exploring the Flavors of a Beloved Local Indian Restaurant** Nestled in Pico Rivera, this family-run Indian eatery has garnered a mixed bag of reviews, showcasing a journey from initial admiration to growing concerns. Guests appreciate the variety of vegetarian and vegan options, with dishes like veggie Korma and Aloo Gobi standing out for their flavor and generous portions. However, issues have surfaced, particularly regarding inconsistent service and food quality, with some visiting patrons expressing disappointment over rising prices and diminishing portion sizes. Despite these challenges, many still find solace in the warm naan and comforting samosas, making it a local favorite for Indian cuisine enthusiasts.

This restaurant offers a typical Indian dining experience with a variety of combo options and menu items. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices—just ask, and they'll provide details. My personal favorite is the aubergine dish (vegan)! I always pair it with the potato and cauliflower dish (also vegan), and together they make a delicious meal. Each meal comes with naan, but if you specify that you're vegan, they can substitute it with something else!
This is a welcoming, family-run restaurant. While the space is small, it is exceptionally clean. The food is freshly made and very flavorful. My favorites are the Aloo Gobi and the goat curry. The naan is warm and appears to be freshly prepared on-site. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine.
I took an India cube he mentioned, the taste spices are little over taste, as a level of authentic foods. Besides the spice, the taste was good. Other dishes cooked to order. Freshly flavoured food.
This place is really really good!!! Tried the black pepper chicken and chicken curry!
Yum, samosas! Garlic naan... I'm a vegetarian and it's great to have a local place with vegetarian options. Usually have to go to Artesia to find decent Indian food so it's great to see this in Pico Rivera. Definitely recommend this local spot.

I absolutely love Indian food, and they really know how to do it right at Curry Hut. I’m a huge fan!
This restaurant offers a classic fast food experience, but with an Indian twist. You can choose from various combo meals or order directly from the menu, which includes both vegetarian and vegan options—just ask the staff for details. My personal favorite is the aubergine dish (vegan), which I always pair with the potato and cauliflower dish (also vegan) for a delightful meal. Each meal comes with naan, but if you mention that you’re vegan, you can swap the naan for another option!
