Second Cup - Pickering

This second cup is the worst I've been to. The owner and his wife are incredibly rude and disrespectful to not only customers but also their student employees. They constantly yell at the workers, causing some to cry. The drinks taste watered down, but the real issue is the behavior of the owners. It seems like they should have retired years ago as they ruin everyone else's day with their negative attitude.

I work above the Second Cup and the staff are always friendly and fast. The coffee and hot and cold hot chocolate are amazing. Baked goods are great. Love the atmosphere.

Every time I go in here, the staff are cranky and miserable to deal with! Its the only place I can get a particular flavour of coffee we like, but its also very painful to go in there.

We have been coming here for several years, and are never disappointed. The service here is top notch, and the owner is very attentive and also trains staff extensively. The food is fresh and varied (muffins, loaves, breakfast food, for example) and the drinks are - the best! Everything they offer is as good as Starbucks drinks, and we have had most of their offerings. The atmosphere is excellent - quiet, spacious, comfortable, and conducive to study, reading or chatting. A bit on the outdated side and needs some renovations and extra electric outlets if you want to work but having said that I enjoy the service a lot and enjoy the atmosphere. Very friendly.
