Retro Burger - Pickering

Don't pay attention to the one-star reviews; I can assure you they're likely from people who expected to get paid for dining here. Call it a chain or whatever you like, but the food is fantastic. I've been a loyal customer since they opened in Pickering, and I've never been let down. The burgers are cooked perfectly, the toppings are always fresh, and the fries are my absolute favorite. Plus, the portion sizes are incredibly generous. Honestly, I think they must be losing money with their prices, yet they never change them. Feeding two people for under $30 is an amazing deal, especially when it’s cheaper than McDonald's and the quality far surpasses it any day of the week. Oh, and the food comes out faster too—how wild is that? I usually order delivery, but whenever I've dined in, the experience has been excellent. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, and the staff are genuinely wonderful people. I've always enjoyed chatting and joking with the employees, who have consistently shown great character. The man I believe is the owner or manager has an impressive sense of humor. Keep up the fantastic work; I'm thrilled to see all of you thriving post-pandemic! Cheers!

The Big 10 combo is a definite winner! It’s freshly cooked, delicious, and comes in generous portions. The service is friendly, and the dining area and restrooms are exceptionally clean. Outstanding experience!

There has been a significant decline in the quality of all the items. I don't remember ever having to remove so much gristle from a hamburger before.

Burger was good. Service fair. Busy place. Quick service. Clean area. Would take the fries not the onion rings. My 2 cents.

Retro Burger is still rocking my favourite burgers in the GTA! The staff loves what they do and that reflects in the food as well. So glad indoor dining is open again! Notice how the double cheeseburger has 2 patties and TWO slices of cheese? That's a true double cheeseburger!
