Ordered some chicken and rice they give... read more Use to come to this place all the time. Went recently and noticed the quality is it the same and the portions are small. Ordered some chicken and rice they give you small pieces. For the price you pay I could get a larger portion meal elsewhere. We only go there cause it's on our way home. Maybe Swiss chalet is a better option next time.

Anyway, the wi... read more I could have kicked myself for not knowing that these guys have been at their current location for 13 years and I've lived nearby for the last 4. Anyway, the wife and kid were both very happy with their grilled pork on rice and pho respectively, as was I with my x-large special pho with everything. Pho Lac Vien at Markham and Finch gives a bigger portion, but somehow Pho Saigon just tastes better... and they're closer to home. Will be seeing them again!

Our meals arrived as ordered and we all dug in. As usual everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I have always had a great meal here and it was nice to hear everyone as happy as I was. Then the bill arrived and four of us left quite full and having no complaints owing less than $50. I guess it's the first time I noticed the price paid but we sure got more than our monies worth.I would recommend more people try this restaurant if you like Vietnamese food or just want to try something different.

We... read more After coming from the West Coast, it took us a couple of years to discover this gem, and it’s undoubtedly one of the best Vietnamese restaurants we've found. We've tried at least 20 different Vietnamese places, but this one is our favorite. Although we live in Oshawa, we make the trip to Pickering just for Pho Saigon. The owner and staff are wonderful—very friendly and eager to help. The food is incredible, and the portions are generous. This restaurant is definitely a must-try, and you won’t be disappointed!
