We are Kiwi's visiting family and one thing us NZ'ers miss most is being able to get a great coffee,they are about but you need to dig to find them. Look no further if you are in Frenchman's Bay and are hanging out for a Latte, Flat White or Espresso.OPEN STUDIO Art Cafe is not to be passed.Great little spot big on service and as it isn't a franchise operation it has its own unique intimate atmosphere. I understand OSAC is also open throughout the winter! Highly recommend you stop here when next in Frenchmans Bay.

If we didn't... our appetite for a dinner reservation, we would definitely have used to taste the homemade biscotti, cookies or other tasty looking treats offered. Michelle, the owner, was fantastic; very personal / friendly. Many handmade jewelry on the display for sale as well as beautiful original paintings. The next time we're in Pickering, it's definitely going back.

The service was friendly, the coffee and the iced tea were both great (yes, I went back a second time! and the food was delicious. Many fascinating pieces of art on the walls (I fight against a urge to go back and buy one or two pieces and there are some days of live music (I think an open mic night on Fridays and live music on Sundays). I love the mood in this place!
