Went with the family on a Saturday morning for breakfast. No booking on weekends. The waitress was very friendly person. The food was very tasty. Lot of choices to select from the menu. The place was very busy. View all feedback.
What Canuckmummy doesn't like about Cora Breakfast & Lunch:
My kids loved this place! So much selection and great combinations they loved that they could have a chocolate crepe with eggs and bacon. I had the mushroom, onion and goat cheese eggs Benedict very tasty! as well as the salmon eggs Benedict a bit bland . Overall, it was too pricey for breakfast $120 for a family breakfast is too much! Greasy dirty restaurant. Gross overpriced coffee. Expensive cold and undercooked food. And rude waitress equals not worth your time or money
My wife and I like to go out to breakfast on the weekends and we have a couple spots we really enjoy going to. This is one of them but the last time we were in there. We had a real bad service due to the person taken care of us. It was like he was somewhere else. Wife asked for green tea and water, I asked for coffee and water. He brings us over the green tea and coffee and no water. So we ask again and brings one and I mean on glass of water. We order our food and he did not ask if we needed any sauce or anything like, fine. SO I ask for hot sauce because I enjoy it on my eggs. Did you think he could bring it over. nope not at all. Please do not get me wrong, The food is top notch, 80% of the staff is top notch but this one guy puts that bad taste, if you know what I mean. I get it that there job is not easy but either is mine and I know it may not have been his best day but this person done it twice to us now.
I came in today looking forward to going there today. Until Sara served me. I have never been so insulted in my life. She actually asked me if what I ordered to eat was going to be enough . Like excuse me. I wanted to rip off her head right then but I clamly said yes. But when I called to talk to a manager she answered she acted like she couldn't hear me the first time and hung up on me. The second time I called I asked who I was speaking to (because she would not find a manager sure enough yes it was her again). I let her know I wasn't happy and not kindly either because I could not believe how rude she was acting so came at her with her energy. She should be ashamed of herself. Who asks anyone that?! in all of the time I have served I have never. I can't even. Normally I am understanding but this I can't get past But food was good thank you cooks.
My wife and I took my son and daughter-in-law to this Cora's to celebrate my daughter-in-law's birthday. It has become our favorite breakfast place in the GTA. The food is fresh and delicious, there are gluten-free options, and the price is reasonable considering the plates are full! The best part of our experience was our server Jonah. He was cheerful, prompt, and kept our coffees full! He went above and beyond what we've experienced in a very long time.
Met up with a friend for brunch on the patio. It was lat March, but the weather had been more like spring and the Patio is covered and had heaters so it was perfect. Another plus is the chairs on the patio are not the white plastic chairs, instead they have nice solid chairs. Our server for that day was Kate, and she was fantastic and super friendly. This was the 1st weekend for increased seating and it was very busy, but we never felt like we were forgotten. My friend had the Breakfast Burrito , and that came with potato 's and salsa. She was very happy with her breakfast. I had the Louis the Undecided this was a mixture plate. It came with 2 eggs, bacon. potato 's and a crepe filled with banana, strawberries and nutella. It was very filling and sinfully delicious Overall, we both left full and happy
