Chef Yan Chinese Food - Pickering

I finally found a great Chinese restaurant in Pickering. I was surprised to discover that Chef Yan was located near my home and I recently tried their food. My wife and I used to only go to Far East Chinese Restaurant in Niagara Falls for good Chinese food, but we have now eaten at Chef Yan's twice and the food has always been delicious. Rabina, the staff member, is very friendly and professional and the chef always takes the time to greet customers and thank them for their business. The prices are reasonable and my favorite dishes are the sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken egg foo young, and plain fried rice. Although Chef Yan's restaurant may not look fancy on the outside or inside, the great customer service and tasty food make up for it. We also tried Paul Wong's restaurant in Pickering based on reviews, but found that their customer service and food quality did not compare to Chef Yan. Paul Wong's was expensive, flavorless, and greasy. We will continue to be loyal customers of Chef Yan for many years to come. I hope this review is helpful to others. God bless.

Great Chinese food, only place I go to in Pickering.
