This restaurant is great for families, with a good children's menu that offers options in varying sizes for both younger and older kids. Although it had been years since we last visited a BP location, we recently discovered their March... View all feedback.
What Rebeca Adams doesn't like about Boston Pizza:
Specifically asked for no garlic in my meal as I am allergic to it. I definitely to garlic, had a bad reaction. Called the store the next day., talked to a man who refused to give me his name. Odd. He never even apologized at all. Very Rude. He said he would talk to his manager, and she would call the next day. She did Not. I had to call them.! She was not that pleasant, just asked what king of reaction I had. Finall... View all feedback.
Well, this was a bad choice for lunch.they always stress delivery, so we tried it at work.
We unwittingly called in here for lunch after shopping in the area. Unfortunately, it was shortly after the kickoff for the England/Croatia World Cup semi final. The bar area was busy but not crowded but 15 of the 16 screens were showing the match. The...16th, Wimbledon. The server came over quite quickly with menus and also took our drinks order. My wife has an intolerance to any pork products and so ordered a pecan chicken salad but specifically, without the bacon bits. My daughter and I ordered the new Kick’n Memphis Chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich is meant to be a replacement for their trusted Buffalo Chicken sandwich. While it is nice to have sliced jalapeños between the bread I was disappointed to taste the chicken had a much more oily coating. The bread itself is a bun, no longer the better tasting baguette. I can only presume these are less expensive options for BP. Several bites in to the salad my wife discovered several pieces of bacon on the underside of her spinach and lettuce. At this point she also knew that she had eaten some. She sent the salad back and a fresh one was prepared, this time with no hint of bacon. While this was being done she spent about 15 minutes in the bathroom, recovering from the after affect of having consumed some of the bacon. Our waitress was most apologetic and to her credit we did not get charged for the cost of the salad in our bill. The restrooms were clean and accessible. Parking is freely available close to the restaurant. We left shortly before the final whistle for the match but my wife is still feeling the after affects and didn’t eat most of her salad.
Specifically asked for no garlic in my meal as I am allergic to it. I definitely to garlic, had a bad reaction. Called the store the next day., talked to a man who refused to give me his name. Odd. He never even apologized at...all. Very Rude. He said he would talk to his manager, and she would call the next day. She did Not. I had to call them.!! She was not that pleasant, just asked what king of reaction I had. Finally agreed to mail out a voucher., That was 8 days ago. I again had to call, spoke to her and she said she did not know when the voucher went out. (whenever the driver picks it up) not clear on that but she had no idea when it was mailed. How can a store be given a second chance when clearly they do not want to be curtious. I felt like I was wasting her time, again no apology.
The food was served warm but not hot. Originally well welcomed, and derived from a drink. We had to ask for salt, pepper, butter, another drink and we wanted to dress twice for salad. I'd think with potatoes/sweet potatoes/sweet that you bend it. Waitress... was kind enough, but inattentive.
We went here for a birthday dinner, around 6pm on a Sunday. The place was dead, only 2 other tables were occupied. There were (we counted) over 10 waiters and hostesses total, yet our meal took over 3 hours for 4 people. None of the...other waiters attended our table even though we called them and flagged them down for something as simple as a refill for our waters. Yet another table, with 6 people that were seated halfway through our meal, not only got their dinner before us, but left before us. I have an allergy to pepper, and was disappointed to learn that many of the dishes I was planning on ordering,I actually couldn't order since they were premade. Are you actually serious? Fettuccine Alfredo, the easiest sauce in the world to make was premade...and that's a $14 dish. For $14 before tax I would expect to be served something made on site. Even Timmy's makes stuff on site. And if it's premade, what is the wait for? The only redeeming factor of this meal was the deserts were amazing. That being said, we will never be going back.
