Not sure whether we have only luck on our visit to fortune inn on the basis of some of the negative reviews, but they need to talk as they find. the food was de... read more Not sure whether we have only luck on our visit to fortune inn on the basis of some of the negative reviews, but they need to talk as they find. the food was decent with a huge menu to choose, although one of the dishes (spicy Satay chicken) was a little bland and certainly not spicy, the service was prompt and the staff was ok. the prices did not seem too bad. not sure that the person who sat all night during our meal (can they get the spicy satay) but all in all I would say it is their average restaurant, we would certainly eat here again if in pickering.

The women when approached about all of the above was aggressive. We will never return. If I could leave no stars I would. The prices are reasonable, the staff is f... read more I absolutely adore this restaurant. Every time we are in Pickering, we make sure to stop by because it's our favorite. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch. We usually go for dinner and the cost per person falls between £10-20. The food is amazing, we highly recommend the Crispy Duck and Egg Fried Rice. The atmosphere is also great, we always rate it a perfect 5.
