However, the Samosas I or... read more This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I tried the Goan Vindaloo with basmati rice and vegetables, and it was just alright. However, the Samosas I ordered were excellent. I'm pleased to note that everything I chose was vegan, and there are plenty of vegan options available on the menu. The total for the appetizer and main dish came to about $17. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

However, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly flavorful chicken curry, delicious garlic naan, and generous portion sizes. The only minor drawback was the lamb kabob wrap; I found the addition of cheese a bit off-putting, as it masked the authentic Indian flavors. I believe the naan lamb wrap would benefit from being cheese-free since the chicken tikka sauce already delivers plenty of flavor to the wrap. The mango salad was vibrant and fresh, adding to the overall experience. In summary, it was a tasty and freshly prepared meal for a casual Indian fast food spot.

Restaurant is very clean with a great ambience. And…Tikka Shack has the best water and drinks—I think it’s because they use filtered water! Usually I don’t like getting soft drinks at fast food places because they taste bad but not at Tikka Shack!
