Last Saturday my husband, brother, nephew and I walked into the restaurant looking for something to eat. It was after 10am and five and a half hours before my brothers wedding. Breakfast there was officially over but the staff offered to fire up the grill. They were in process of tearing down the buffet line but immediately stopped and made us feel at home. They brought to our table large plates of freshly cooked egg... View all feedback.
What Amber M doesn't like about The Liberty Kitchen:
I've been bamboozled. The food looked pretty good photos but it definitely is not. I had the Liberty Caesar, which felt more like an episode of Fear Factor than a salad because of how fishy it was. Our server was 0% apologetic when I told her how bad the salad was, she just asked whether it was the dressing and then walked away. My fries were soggy and my friend's dry rubbed wings didn't have any rub... Yikes. It was... View all feedback.
Umm something must have happened since these reviews. It 's a dingy hotel restaurant. I showed up for dinner, there were two people having dinner alone. Menus were laid out on each table, it was a paired down menu of the one posted here- it was 7pm, so shouldn 't have been late night menu. I waited about 5 min for someone to seat me and I didn 't see anyone and left. Can 't judge to food quality but if the ambiance and service were any indication I wouldn 't chance it.
Ordered my food an hour ago and still waiting, so that 's a no for me. The waitress was surly, and finally told us that she had no idea how long our food would be because it was busy . In the meantime, several customers cane, ate and went. Food wasn 't terrible, but not worth a 80 minute investment.
Totally nothing like the reviews on here. There was a bar and a paper menu and some staff that could care less
We are locals and used to love this place. We had a group of neighbors excited to join us after bragging about the kitchen's menu. When we got there we realized the menu has changed. It was boring and limited. The beer selection is not nearly as good. We were there for the truffle pot pie, unique jalapeí±o bacon brittle, and sweet potato fries with fire roasted marshmallows on top!!! Not only was it all gone, there was nothing that paled in comparison on the new menu. I had the wings. They were good, but something you could get anywhere. An overpriced boring burger was served to another at the table. The service was meh, and we were only one of three tables occupied. We love the patio there, but this area is growing, gentrifying quickly, and Liberty needs to step it up if they want to compete. We will be back only if they take another look at their menu options.
