a beautiful Saturday brunch here. had the chicken biscuit sandwich with breakfast. not fruit toast was incredible and the cocktails were perfect. everything is handmade in front of them so they sit at the bar to enjoy. chef stephen has a jewel here; they should check it as soon as possible. What User doesn't like about The Larder The Delta:
I'd give it 2.5 if I could. The atmosphere was nice, the service was good but the kitchen was SLOW. We had the okera app, it was pretty good one of the best okras we've jad at a resturant. The spoon bread was good but the extras on top didn't work. The rice and beans side was bland and oily and didn't have enough salt. The pork chop was half raw, the sauce was just like someone poured oil on the plate. I'd go back if... View all feedback.
This is a quaint little restaurant located in Mid Town Phoenix. It has an open kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared. A must try is the Crispy Pig Ears. this may be a turn of to some, but I can assure you if you did not know what you were eating, you would love this appetizer. The ears are sliced thin and fried to perfection. They are then dusted with a cheese powder. Wonderfully delicious and addicting. We also had the Crab Cake. This is a large portion and is full of chunk crab meat (very little filler so you really taste the crab). Another must try is the Pimento Cheese and Ham appetizer. This is served wiht a local artisan bread along with an 18 month aged sliced ham (we watched as they sliced the ham off the shank in the kitchen). The Pimento Cheese spread is creamy and delicious. They also specialize in craft cocktails. Try the New Fashion. They serve it with a cherry imported from Italy. It was like eating a cherry on steroids. The only thing I can warn you about is the seating. If you make your reservation on line, you will be seated at the bar without warning. This was not ideal for us but I would not consider it a deal breaker. There are only 4 tables inside and the bar seating as well. There are outdoor tables as well that would be more suitable for non-summer months. Overall, this is an excellent and unique restaurant. Highly recommend.
I've always had wonderful food at the Larder and Delta! There's something on the menu for everyone's taste; the food is creatively prepared and delicious! I'm a southerner and enjoy the chef's take on southern food. I had the hoppin john and collards; both were exquisite!
Always amazing. We went on a Wednesday, where there is a selection of wine for $20 a bottle. For starters we tried the Himachi very tasty indeed. We were in luck and there was Nashville hot chicken (not on the menu every night) so, had to get it! Clearly enough for 2 people to share. The BEST! To complement, a wonderful dish made with grits, roasted tomatoes and shredded cheese. Then, we pigged out to a crazy good strawberry shortcake. YUM!

What a great meal we had, and everyone enjoyed it. the only challenge was the heat and that two people were disappointed that the online menu and the real one we were handed over were something different. everything was delicious and our server was wonderful
