I am an army ranger and a few men began to talk politics with me and thank me for my service. both the bartender and the owner told me to go for the talk about politics and when I told them that I threatened to call the police on me and my fiancée for my first rights of change and their fights and that I would not go until I had the drinks I paid for. if they support the military not go there View all feedback.
Good prices, solid food. I enjoyed the fish and chips and brought a sandwich home for my son. Guests can enjoy breakfast!
Food was mushy. Order is never correct. Added on extra charges, $2.00 each item extra after 3 p.m. I'll never go back again! Horrible. Go anywhere else. Dairy Queen next to it has way better food for half the price
We were in Phoenix for a family event and had to kill a few hours before heading back to the airport. We stumbled upon The Burg, saw it had off track betting and figured that could be fun. They didn't get to us for a bit, but they seemed a little short staffed for the number of customers they had. It had started raining about an hour before showed up so maybe that changed their usual customer flow? At any rate, once we did get service, she was awesome. They have happy hour prices in the afternoons so the five of us had drinks and snacks for around $50 pretty amazing really. I couldn't eat them (gluten) but my folks split the boneless buffalo wings and said they were great. I had some crazy blue cocktail with rum that was delightful. My brother played the horses a bit while we hung out. If I found myself back in PHX on this side of town, I'd definitely visit again.
Absolutely elite local bar. Food is 10/10 and the service is phenomenal. All of the servers are attentive and precise, even during a rush. Prices, especially happy hour, are appropriately priced. There are many regulars, and I can see why! Very few bars in the area compete with this place.
Highly recommend this place. Best wings in Phoenix. The staff were great.
