Always had good food and good time here. You can choose between BBQ Top or Menu Option. If you choose BBQ, I recommend beef type BBQ item. All items taste great, but the beef taste is best when cooked to your taste. For the menu option, I recommend japchea or seafood pancakes. If you have stomach space, also recommend the steamed egg. The service is usually great. I had the occasional lackluster server, but the food... View all feedback.
What brian barriga doesn't like about Sizzle Korean Barbeque:
The food was good, but did not warrant the price, which is unfortunate. The price so over shadowed the food, that was all I was left with afterwards, thinking how expensive it was instead of how good the food potentially was. The service was good as well, but again, not for the price. It was in a very nice mall and the atmosphere was very nice... But not to offset the price. I 'm from California where everything is m... The service was good as well, but again, not for the price. It was in a very nice mall and the atmosphere was very nice... But not to offset the price. I 'm from California where everything is more expensive, it seems, but this place was severely overpriced. We came with a party of 6 and when our server was done cooking the meat we ordered, I joked, where 's the rest of the meat? Did I mention this was WAY overpriced? Very close to four hundred when all said and done. That 's without any drinks. Just water. I would HARD pass on this restaurant.
This will be the fifth time I’ve never tipped. Ordered brisket for the table to go with the dolsot bimbimbap and the rib soup… what we got was charred tasteless brisket. We didn’t really know what to say and didn’t touch it. Our waitress didn’t really come by and ask anything to see how we were doing until the end, so we waited till the end to let her know the meat was burnt. We asked for it to be taken off the bill to which she said she’d ask her manager. She came back and said that she couldn’t do anything because we had to say something as soon as it hits the table.Well here you guys go. I’ve been here plenty of times and it’s been ok, nothing remarkable just scratches the Korean itch. This was garbage. Not coming back to this one I guess. The brisket can actually be amazing if you don’t have someone cook the hell out of it and turn it into beef jerky.
The restaurant is cozy and located in a marketplace. You can make a reservation via Yelp. The staff was friendly and were quick to provide us water refills and any other complementary side dishes we wanted. The beef combo was a great deal with a really good amount of food. We let the staff cook for us, you are able to cook yourself if you wanted. I would recommend white rice to complement the strong flavors of the meat. The marinated thinly sliced beef was my favorite.
This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Phoenix! The food is fantastic. The meat cooked in the center of your table is fun. The kids love it. It's pricey but well worth it!Food: 5/5
Had a wonderful time here with my girlfriend. We were kind of on the fence with the place honestly at first because we have not heard too much about it but decided to still give it a try and it was so worth it! We both had a great experience and the food was amazing. Check it out if you haven’t already you won’t regret it! 4/5 stars!!!
