Was Dave Lester at Peerce's a mag?
My wife and I recently hosted a dinner party in the Marigold Room at Peerce's and it exceeded all of our expectations! We consider ourselves food enthusiasts with diverse tastes, and everyone in our party was thrilled with their appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts. We truly enjoyed every aspect of the experience - from the perfectly paced service to the beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace. I highly... View all feedback.
What Steven Siperko dislikes about Peerce's:
The food and service are good but pricey!! Waitress would not do separate checks for a party of three couples and offered no explanation. Carpet in the dinning room is ripped and buckled and should be replaced before someone trips and hurts themselves. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

Wonderful dinner experience this evening with my wife. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend the Tuna Toroji small plate. It is an amazing twist on seared ahi tuna. Make sure to scoop the sauce and cucumber under it when eating. Garlic Naan was fabulous and not overpoweringly garlic. Perfect simple garlic bread. I had the beef tenderloin which was unbelievably juicy and cooked to simple seared perfection with a nice outter crunchy crust. The corn pudding scoop could be a meal by itself. Serve that in a bowl with a giant spoon and it will be a hit by itself. My wife enjoyed the fish curry. The creamy sweet and spicy goodness was off the chart. The rice was tender but plain that comes as a side. We will have to try the nicer rice dishes next visit. The desserts were a nice twist. The chocolate molten lava cake was delicious and 10/10 recommend. I enjoyed the bread pudding. The bread pudding is not what you expect. The bread pudding, use your imagination, the warmest, soggiest, banana flavory deliciousness. Please keep that in mind. It will not be like a southern bbq restaurant style bread pudding with pudding mix and such. Keep in mind this restaurant is elevated Indian Cuisine with a twist. This was my second visit and plan to return for plenty more. The atmosphere and ambiance are second to none. Multiple fireplaces and impeccable interior and exterior design make it a welcoming setting for even quick cocktails. The staff are incredibly personable, professional and despite an elevated atmosphere, they make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Leave your typical western taste buds at the door and really enjoy this establishment. It is a gem.
Service, food and ambience were very good however the Butter Chicken was very spicy and almost too hot. There was nothing stated on the menu or offered by our server to ask about the level of spice so most of it went uneaten. Sadly, $14 for a molten chocolate cake that tastes more like it's store bought was the biggest disappointment even though it includes the cardamom ice cream. Lastly, we were seated in the smaller dining room near the bar area and it was incredibly loud. Everyone was practically shouting in order to communicate. The large dining areas did not have this issue.

The service and owners at this restaurant were excellent, but I was completely disappointed with the food. I did not enjoy any of the dishes, such as aloo gobi and dal tadaka. I am sorry to say that I did not eat at all. I felt I had to write this review to urge the restaurant to improve the taste and quality of their food. This is my first time writing a review, but I hoped they could be as good as places like Royal Taj or Ananda in Maryland. The service and atmosphere were great, though. Very beautiful and relaxing.
I wasn't sure if I would like Indian food, but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious piece of fish I had! The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was friendly and efficient. I will definitely be coming back.
This is one of our fav date night spots in the county. If you go during the warmer months, the patio is so charming with twinkle lights, great patio settings and perfect ambiance. The interior is great as well if you are there in other seasons. The food and service are always great. You will likely get to know the host, sommelier, and owners who are all lovely. Get the cilantro and goat cheese naan and meat samosas for appetizers.
One of my favorite places to eat! I love Indian food and their lamb Korma is the best. The wait staff is friendly and courteous, and the owners come out and greet you every time!
