I almost chipped a tooth because it was so hard, and it has happened more than once. When I tried to call about the issue, no one answered. When I called during business hours, I was put on hold and then hung up on.

Ave/Niedere Eimerstelle) for the second time in two weeks, and once again, they were out of the whistling chicken. I initially ordered a two-escape meal but ended up canceling it and opting for a bowl with something else. That’s when they decided to prepare their string-mounted chickens. I had to wait about seven minutes, but I finally received my food. Meanwhile, the Panda Express on Avondale/Van Buren also didn’t have it available either and told me it would take 15 minutes, but that wasn’t the case. Their excuse was that they don’t always prepare it since no one really orders it anymore, so they decided not to keep it on hand. When my friend asked why it was still on the menu, they didn’t have a solid answer. I guess I just need to stick to making it at home to avoid further disappointment.

I... read more I had a similar experience at the Panda Express on Avondale and Van Buren; they also didn’t have it available and told me it would take 15 minutes to prepare. I decided against waiting. The staff explained that they don’t always have the ingredients because it’s not a popular item. My boyfriend pointed out that if that’s the case, then why is it still on the menu? At this point, it seems easier to just make it at home to avoid the disappointment.

While I’... read more I really enjoy Panda; I appreciate being able to order as much food as I want. I've never gotten sick from any of their locations, which is a big plus. While I’ve noticed that some employees at certain locations can seem annoyed, I totally get it—as a misanthrope myself, I understand why they might feel that way. That’s why I steer clear of customer service jobs. I can only imagine how often they have to deal with difficult customers.
