We started with the... read more This was our first visit to OAK, and we came to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We started with the baked goat cheese, then shared a blue cheese salad and ribeye. The steak was slightly overcooked, but everything else was excellent. It is a charming spot for a romantic dinner. We were too full to try the brownie, but it looked amazing!

Regardless of the name change, it is a fantastic spot to enjoy a few drinks and some thoughtfully prepared food. We tried the Baked Goat Cheese, which was absolutely amazing, as well as the Pepperoni Sausage Pizza, which we devoured. The Blue Cheese Salad was also delicious. However, we were disappointed with the French Onion Burger, which was overcooked and bitter (the reason for only 4 stars). The Baked Goat Cheese is a must-try, it is truly outstanding. The pizza, cooked in a wood fire oven, was flavorful and hit all the right notes. Unfortunately, the burger was a letdown, as it was overcooked. Despite this, Oak is one of the best dining spots in Phoenix, and possibly the whole of Arizona.

Brussel sprouts appetizer was outstanding. Delicious sauce and just enough spicy without overwhelming. Fried chicken wasperfectly moist, a little too much breading for my taste. Love that you can turn any salad into a side salad for $5. The Thaisalad was fresh, crisp, and refreshing.

We had the Goat cheese appetizer and the meat butcher pizza. The staff is friendly and the manageris doing an awesome job!
