Was Jose Jordan at Noble Eatery a mag?
Small bread shop. They didn't have any hoagie buns in stock. But they do make them. I found their brand at the farmers market. Good buns. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 View all feedback.
My husband and I visited Noble Eatery, a charming and clean sandwich and bread shop with a pleasant atmosphere. We both ordered the Italian sandwich, which included Italian meats, cheese, and giardiniera. Since I’m of Italian descent, I’m quite familiar with giardiniera and often eat it straight from the jar. However, after just a few bites, the sandwich was overwhelmingly spicy and not enjoyable. I removed the giardiniera, but it still didn’t taste right, so I asked for a to-go box to avoid wasting the sandwich. While at the counter, I suggested they should indicate if the giardiniera is particularly hot or extra spicy. The male staff member replied that it was Sicilian giardiniera, with peppers that aren’t traditional, and proceeded to argue with me. I calmly explained why it’s important to inform customers upfront. The attitude of the staff member was unprofessional, and someone like him shouldn’t be handling customer interactions. It wouldn’t have taken much effort to simply mark “hot” on the chalkboard alongside giardiniera. Unfortunately, this experience has put me off from returning. A small bakery that usually makes hoagie buns, though they were out of stock when I visited. I later found their brand at the farmers market and thought the buns were great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeout Meal: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
Excellent bread, unmatched anywhere.
