I'd pass on the chicken... read more I stopped by Los Taquitos for Taco Tuesday. 3 Tacos for $6! I would highly recommend the pastor and carnitas tacos. They were delicious. I'd pass on the chicken as it was a bit dry. I loved the added onions and cilantro. With the many Taco places in Phoenix, I'd say Los Taquitos is my favorite. Bring your appetite and lots of water. During my recent visit, I placed a large order and spent a... read more The food at this restaurant is excellent; however, they require customers to package their own salsa. During my recent visit, I placed a large order and spent at least 30 minutes filling salsa containers. In Ahwatukee, they always had salsa prepackaged, so I’m not sure why it’s different here. This is quite inconvenient, especially when you’re short on time. I’ll give them one more try, but I really think they should consider offering pre-packaged salsa for larger orders. If the situation doesn’t improve next time, I won’t come back. That said, the food remains very good.

I especially liked the tacos, though the fish didn’t quite suit my taste. The carnitas were amazing, and the al pastor was equally tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, and the service was excellent. They also have bottled beer available, making it an ideal location for a Saturday lunch. I highly recommend this spot, and I didn’t even know they were here—I'll definitely be back.
