We have visited this restaurant twice, both at the bar and at a table, and we are very pleased with the quality of the food and the service. Additionally, their incredibly affordable happy hour margaritas enhance the experience. They also provide options to veganize many of their daily Mexican favorites, such as chimichangas. I've been a fan of the Tempe location for years, and I absolutely love it! Today, I decided to check out the new location in Ahwatukee. The food is just as good as at the other locations, and the service was decent as well. However, the atmosphere in Ahwatukee left much to be desired. Overall, the ambiance was disappointing.
La Casa de Juana is definitely a must-try! The interior is beautifully decorated, the service is fast and exceptional, and the prices are incredibly affordable. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is absolutely delicious! I usually get a combo with a selection of three items that comes with rice and beans, and if I remember correctly, it’s only about $9. They offer a variety of sauces, ice-cold beer, and tasty margaritas, so you won’t regret it. However, it’s worth noting that their hours of operation on Google are definitely not up to date.
Eating was excellent. service was great. her gurkenminze margarita was probably the best margarita I ever had. this place was a bit hard to find (near the shopping center), but definitiw fits the bill of a hole-in-the-wall spot. decor and atmosphere were in harmony with an authentic Mexican restaurant. my only concern was that it was unseasonally hot in the restaurant, I was unsafe when it was a broken A/C unit or if it is a normal event, so we pulled into the outside seats where it was hot (phoenix summer), but had a bit of a afternoon breeze. Overall I was satisfied with my experience here and eating was very tasty and had a large menu of items that were usually not found (sweet fools and chilaquiles). I could only suggest adding milanesa to the menu.
Worse service ever. Slow to seat, slow To serve and made you feel like they wish you had chosen another place for dinner. T
