Was handed the bill w... read more Pretty sure this place gave me food poisoning. Waited 45 minutes for a chicken skewer after being told it was “coming out soon” 3-4 times. Was handed the bill without all of my food having even come out. Happy hour so it was a mandatory 20% gratuity despite the subpar service.Since I had to go on antibiotics for the food poisoning (I still have to eat clear liquids , I looked up Kaizen on the AZ food inspection list. Under this address, the most recent inspection was in July showing that their meat fridge was above regulation (50 degrees instead of under 40° . This earned a B grade and the inspection website says that a follow up inspection is required within a week. However, there is no follow up inspection listed.2 stars because the sushi tasted good, but it’s not worth the amount of money I’ve spent on doctors visits, throwing up all night, and infection that’s resulted.
