Reviews summary
In a culinary landscape that sparks both enthusiasm and discontent, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. While some guests rave about the unbeatable chicken tenders and straightforward ordering process, others lament the lackluster pizza and steep prices. This place features a simplistic menu that appeals to those seeking a quick bite, yet the quality of dishes varies significantly. Notably, the crust on the pizzas receives praise, although the sauce often falls short. The atmosphere can be crowded, particularly with family gatherings, leaving some diners feeling overlooked. Overall, it's a place worth visiting for its highlights but may not meet everyone's expectations.
Was AMANDA SILVA at Fly Bye a mag?
I needed a quick and simple dinner and this place was it! I loved how easy it was to place an online order for pickup and how simplistic the menu is. I got the 15 count tenders with the Hot Nashville, Copy Cane, and Honey Mustard sauce. The box came with French fries! The tenders itself was 10/10, the best! Forget Cane’s, this place is the way to go. I love how big the tenders were and how CRUNCHY it was. The fries we... View all feedback.
What Stephanie Logan dislikes about Fly Bye:
Pizza was not cooked enough and doughy. We threw it back in the oven at home. Still was pretty bland. Nothing special here, very average pizza. I should have done my research. This is a fox restaurant which is Cheesecake Factory. View all feedback.

The chicken is crispy, but remarkably oily. the pizza is a lot of bread. my party was divided, but at the end the Consens was altogether good.
Cheap ingredients, crust is limp, not enough time put into dough. Not real Detroit pizza. They are trying to capitalize on a fad and not provide you quality pizza. Had the Aviator that was way too limp, greasy, and lacked flavor. Also tried the chicken parmesan, but couldn't taste the chicken, crust sucked, nothing like I expected. Service was great, so 2 stars.
Incredibly yummy! Fresh and interesting ingredients. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice little selection of bottled beers and sangria.
Amazing pizza (mushroom is my favourite) which was good even when reheated the next day ? Salad and chicken were good too. Definitely a must-go place!!!
Seriously great pizza for people who enjoy great food and trust chefs to do their flipping’ jobs. The topping combinations they’ve developed are exquisite, so don’t mess with them. If you think you know better than those who created these masterpieces, you are wrong. Like, very wrong. This isn’t “normal” pizza. This is divine pizza. Step out of your comfort zone. Forget what you think pizza should be like. And enjoy.

Did a curbside pickup. Pizza was pretty good but the chicken tenders were outstanding. Maybe the best I've had. If the pizza had been a tad better or if the prices were lower, would be 5 stars. Prices quite steep for the type of food, but I will pay it for those chicken tenders again at some point.
Since opening quality has decrease and cost has increased. Was great when it first opened at Desert Ridge. $30 for an 8 slice pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and cheese? $5 per topping? Really? That is ludicrous. The pizza is swimming in grease and the toppings slid off. Took 3 paper towels to soak it up the grease and or was inedible. The Ceaser Salad is the saddest thing I have every seen. Some romaine thrown into an oversized container with some terrible croutons and shabby parm for $11. I believe Sam Fox is becoming way too proud/greedy over of his concepts. Staff is always friendly though. I will not be returning until this is fixed, if ever.
It's mostly a takeout place, but has limited seating. It's a touch pricey for some menu items. Others it's fine. The Lunch special of slice and salad is a pretty good deal and both the pizza and the salad were delicious.
Yes it is pricey, however these are hands down the best chicken strips I have EVER had. Run do not walk. Also, you have to pay for your sauces which is a bummer but the strips and fries are so good that I dont mind. My favorite sauces are copy cane and the BBQ
Special thanks for making the 90th birthday celebration of my uncle and my 65th such a wonderful experience! We loved every minute of our time at your well run restaurant and were made to feel especially welcomed by your terrific staff. As a native Phoenician, my network runs pretty wide. Suffice it to say, I’m having loads of fun sharing this great “find” and look forward to coming back soon.Dietary restrictions: Probably not the best choice if you’re watching your waistband!

I decided to try a new restaurant with a cool concept (I love carbs), but I was disappointed with the dry pizza that had very little cheese on it. It was also overpriced. Even though I usually enjoy bad pizza, I couldn't bring myself to finish it and ended up throwing it away. It reminded me of the 80s Pizza Hut deep dish. Instead, I recommend heading south to Spinatos Pizza, a family-owned favorite known for their delicious pizza. It's worth the extra block or so to get there!
I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, which was expensive for a small portion of salad, but I was eager to try this place. I paid extra for the chicken only to find that it was still very undercooked in the middle. I'm not sure if it was freshly made or not. Either way, I ended up with uncooked chicken in my salad, which gave me food poisoning. I paid a total of $100 and would not recommend this place. I didn't bother asking for a refund because I have no intention of returning, even with a refund. Make sure to thoroughly check your chicken before eating it.
I like the sweeter sauce and denser dough on the Detroit-style pizza. The wings were cooked well, but the breading was a bit too thick for my taste and tended to come off. I didn't find it to be very impressive considering the price.
Pizza Hut or Dominos would have been a better choice. -Why use a subpar cheese combo for pizza? -Dough/crust is odd consistency/weird flaky. -Toppings were just thrown haphazardly on top. -almost no sauce
This was our first time at Fly Bye. The restaurant was clean and modern and the customer service was better than what we have come to expect. We ordered a large pizza and a five piece chicken strip basket. They did make a mistake with our pizza and itdidn?t come out right, so they had to re-make it. I have to say, they were really exceptional at making things right and makingsure we were happy. The pizza was really good, but we really loved the chicken strips and the sauces(chipotle bbq, honey mustardand ranch). They were some of the best sauces either of us have ever had. Fly Bye will definitely become a regular place for usto eat.
