This place was so cute. Very Friendly staff. Speaks English and Spanish. My boyfriend got an energy drink .. dragon blast or something like that. And he most certainly enjoyed it. I got the banana and strawberry crêpe. And it was DELICIOUS. you can add a scoop of ice cream if you'd like too as well. Over all great experience and the store itself. Very clean. Highly recommend. What Jocelyn G doesn't like about El Cafezito:
I’m a vegetarian, and I ordered the spinach crepe, but it didn’t mention that it contained meat. When my food arrived, I found ham in it. Please update your food descriptions. View all feedback.
TLDR: Loved it here!! This café is like a hidden gem and definitely worth a try, especially if you appreciate Mexican culture!!Atmosphere:The interior has a beautiful aesthetic, my favorite thing was definitely the painted walls. One wall had a beautiful painted mural of the outside of the restaurant and the other wall had coffee related sayings written in Spanish. You can definitely see the Mexican influence all throughout the café and honestly I loved it.Customer Service:The service was also very good! From the moment we walked it, we were welcomed by the lovely cashier and she was very patient with us since it was our first time visiting. Although the price did surprise me, all together we ordered four large drinks and four sweet crepes and our total was $62.16. The total adds up quickly so if you go with a group perhaps try splitting the bill!Food/Drinks:The food was out to us very quickly, not even five minutes after we were seated and we had both our drinks and our food! As a Mexican American I obviously grew up with Mexican sweets so seeing they had a Gansito crepe and Mazapan frappe I just knew I had to try it! The crepe itself was huge, it basically took up the whole plate! The Gansito crepe was filled with Gansito cream and topped with fresh chopped strawberries, strawberry sauce, and pieces of real Gansito. It was delicious, although I might be a little biased since I love strawberries and Gansitos haha. The Mazapan frappe was also delicious. I could taste the peanut butter in it which was something I've never seen done with other Mazapan flavored coffees but it was a pleasant surprise! It also had crushed up Mazapan on top of it which was also very nice. You'll definitely love this place if you have a sweet tooth haha!Nitpicks:My only nitpick would be to check out the online menu on their website if you want pictures of the crepes, as a visual learner it made things way easier. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at El Cafezito! Everything from the atmosphere, the customer service, and the food was lovely! They're both Spanish and English friendly which I really appreciate. It's a very fun place to come and hang out with some friends and chismear over some good food!
I was on my way out of Phoenix and wanted to stop at a recommended coffee shop. This place was great. The staff was very kind and my iced matcha latte was delicious. I had to take it to go, but I would definitely go back.
The coffees are good. I have only came in for coffee although the food looks amazing. The people behind the counter are nice and accommodating. The place looks nice, updated, but the do need better air circulation as the smells from the kitchen linger in the front end as well.
Super good ! Better than Colados! Will be back again soon ! The coffee actually taste like coffee and not to overly sweet. And the crepe was soft and fruit was really sweet as it should be. My bf tried the mazapan crepe and hot coffee and that one was also a 10/10.
This place is so good and the customer service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly. The crepes are really good and the coffee too. My only complaint is how uncomfortable the high rise chairs are hahah.
