Excellent experience here. We were all greeted as we entered Jose was the bartender there made some amazing drinks for us. We should've stayed longer.Service: 5/5
We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and decided to stop for a drink which turned into several drinks. Being a retired firefighter, atmosphere was great, Rhonda (barmaid) was 10 !. Malbec wine was very good and met a great person, named Nick, from Napa Valley in California. Couldn't ask for a better end to the day. Thank you Dust Cutter, Rhonda, and Nick from California. Please pray for his son, Richard. Great guy.
We stopped here for a night cap, and the bar was pretty busy. Our service wasn't the worst but also wasn't the best. It was pretty loud, so maybe that is where the disconnects occurred. We ordered:1. Old fashioned pretty well prepared, no ? unless by request. It was a little on the sweeter side. However, this comment was from an avid old fashioned connoisseur. (4.3/5 ?)2. Chicken ? jalapeño fries ? beware of the red jalapeños they are ? . These were overall pretty good and had a lot of good flavors/spices. Would order again. (4.5/5 ?)3. Urban cowboy ? burger ? the coworking friend who ordered enjoyed and said they would order again. However, it was technically overcooked. (4.5/5 ?)4. Wings these were pretty standard as bar wings go. (3.5/5 ?)This was a nice place to have a night cap and order food. Would visit again.
I visited Dust Cutter for a Sunday breakfast in downtown Phoenix. The restaurant features a unique atmosphere with distinctive furniture, eye-catching ceilings, and leatherbound menus. While the breakfast menu isn't very extensive, the Eggs Benedict with pork belly was flavorful and well-prepared. The potato squares were cooked to a perfect crisp.
This review solely highlights the drink offerings: The venue is located in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel and has a relaxed ambiance, complete with TVs showing sports. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making it an ideal place to unwind with a drink or grab a quick bite by yourself. There are both bar seats and tables available, though the chairs at the tables could be more comfortable. The drink menu includes a wide selection of cocktails, wines, and beers, with cocktails priced at $15 each. I especially enjoyed the Old Fashioned, which was skillfully made with high-quality ingredients. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by their non-alcoholic cocktail, the EZ Rider, priced at $10. Unlike many mocktails that can be overly sweet, this one offered a genuinely satisfying drinking experience without the alcohol.
