While they were decent, they didn't quite meet my expectations. Descent sources their coffee from a local roaster, which is a great touch. If you're in the area, it's worth giving them a try.

The lattes are outstanding and the monthly flavor options are one-of-a-kind. I haven't found a coffee shop as reliable as Descent anywhere else.

I have visited this place several times and each time I leave, I can't wait to come back. The atmosphere is one-of-a-kind and authentic, with lots of local art from various artists. The decor is cohesive and makes me feel happy. Everything is perfectly placed. The staff is friendly and the coffee is delicious. In my opinion, it's definitely worth a visit.

I tried the strawberry cheesecake latte that tasted like burnt coffee. I had my partner have a sip to see if I had covid because for the life of me I only tasted burnt sock water. After that, I got a scolding. He proceeded tell me I got what I deserved for supporting hipster establishments, followed by that I could’ve supported the capitalistic beast that is the almighty Starbucks and gotten diabetes but a good Frappuccino nonetheless.
