Contribute FeedbackDaawat Indian Cuisine has garnered attention for its authentic flavors and generous portions, particularly the acclaimed Chicken Tikka Masala and Gongura Mutton Biryani. Many patrons praise the restaurant's friendly service and quality food, often highlighting their tasty appetizers like Samosas and garlic naan. However, recent visits have revealed inconsistencies, with some dishes deemed overly greasy or lacking flavor. Concerns about the pricing of to-go boxes and an uncomfortable atmosphere have also emerged. Despite these issues, the restaurant remains a potential hidden gem for those seeking delightful Indian dishes in North Phoenix.
Although getting a questionable food facility, Daawat Indian Cuisine offers a wide range of delicious food. It's well done and price pretty. I don't have a problem. My only handle would be the rustic atmosphere.
Very good food with authentic Indian spices. Love the goat biriyani, chicken/mutton sukha/fry items. Very delicate and well cooked.
Starting from staff behavior to ambience . This place is home . Have been going here since 2014 and I cannot start my weekend without their special Paneer Makhni and Chicken 65 for my husband. Even when I travel to India I miss their Paneer. It’s sooooo good . The South Indian food is great too. Please continue with the awesomeness. Best of luck ?
Food is always great, Tiki Masala, Chicken Curry, Goat Biryani are delicious, we also added a Samosa as an appetizer. The garlic Naan? Wow!For Indian Food, this is the place to go.
Would NEVER go to this place again. We were contemplating between go to a fine Mexican place vs Indian. Realized that we made a stupid choice coming here…Appetizers were fine. The main course subzis and naans — so-so for the price point. It was a little salty. The person who served the table did a good job though. The irritating part is they are nickel dime about the to-go boxes… they charge 1.50 for a plastic container with lid (I think it was the manager or owner who said they’ll charge). seriously??? do you expect to put the semi gravy appetizer in a thermacol box the fridge???
