What Lavina kumar doesn't like about Chennai Chettinaad Palace:
We ordered rasmalai, which was on the menu. And they gave us rasgulla. It's an Indian restaurant, they should probably know the difference between rasmalai and rasgulla. We ate panipuri (which tasted very bad)Chicken lollipop was edible. View all feedback.
A NEW WORLD is just on my PALATE This place is a true ambassador for Indian food. Your buffer options are always amazing. EVERYTHING is amazing and in every corner of the buffet you will find a taste you have never tasted.
Update: Rava dosa ordered again. To my surprise this time it was very good. Good portion and taste. The most disgusting rava dosa I've ever seen in my life. It was soggy, bathed in the oil and glued on the paper. In addition, I didn't get Chutney and Sambar. Painful. When you charge 13$ for food, except a decent one.
Loved my chicken spicy with rice. It had a really nice kick. My wife ordered the fish and it was really good. I had a tea that was amazing. I've never had such a tea before. The next time my laws are in town, I'll get them there so they can try.
My popular Indian dish in every Indian restaurant was formerly Began Bartha (Eggplant). Chennai Chettinaad Palace made my favorites: Aloo mother (a spicy potato peel in an onion engraving). Tamarind Rice is also great. It is very spicy; so “cool” my belly by awarding Raita (a yogurt with cucumber, tomatoes and mint)!
The worst biryani ever. This might be one of my quickest reviews. I had a pick up order for two chicken biryanis and when i opened it at home , it was one of the most disappointing scene ever. Both biryanis were burnt and no chicken in there in one of it. It looked like they scrapped the bottom of the pot.I did not have time to go back, if I could I would have showed it to them what they packed. We ended up trashing both the biryanis, it was not edible for us. It would have been sin and foul even to donate the food . What a waste of money, never going to that place again. And if you want a biryani, just don get fooled by the name “chettinad” .
