Avanti, a Valley tradition since 1974, offers a unique dining experience with dramatic black and white interiors, candlelight, and a quiet atmosphere. Best lasagne in town, spaghetti too. Risotto, osobuco...you get the idea. And ditto on the Caesar salad. A separate bar area presents Charles Lewis on piano on weekends. Old shiny New York atmosphere. Can be quiet so we can actually talk. Frank Sinatra is certainly one of those pictured on the entrance wall. Owner sometimes chef Angelo is s legend.
Absolute Gem! Took the fam here for the first time on NYE and the food was amazing! The old school vibe was perfect and the staff was on point. We will be back soon!

Such a special place!!! A time capsule feeling capturing old school Italian hipness with always top tier cuisine. We always sit in the bar area because it is stunningly beautiful and so unique. Probably the worst Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. Ordered the linguine with clams. The linguine was overcooked I couldn’t taste the clams because there was so much garlic in the dish.. With the price in the lousy food. Probably would never eat her again. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $30–50
