True Food Kitchen - Phoenix

The food was amazing!! Even the kids menu food was so good. However, and maybe just an off night....the service was not that great. Lots of empty tables and they sat us right a the entrance of the bathrooms. YUCK. Servers were nice but short with us and really not that friendly.

I have gone to True Food for many years. Most often, I go for business lunches, but the last two visits have been over dinner. On both occasions my order was done wrong, not once but twice, the protein was overcooked, my asparagus was drenched in oil and salt, and most concerning, the the lettuce looked really unclean, so I lifted the top piece up and a bug was in the piece below! I don't know what has happened to the standards and service at the restaurant, but at this point, I will not go back unless someone specifically requests it for a business meal.

We were not too happy dining at True Food Biltmore. We had beer spill right next to us with glass shattered by another customer), but no apology from the restaurant staff or the people who spilled it. Then, we had to wait forever to get menus, we received dirty glasses twice, with no apology and then our food was ok, lots of bones in the salmon...the dumplings were cold and we had to ask for water refills twice and our dinner plates were left in front of us, while dessert was served. No apologies ever, we won't be back...the place isn't too clean either and loud music was at an inappropriate level and type of music, not great. The dessert here is 10 out of 10! Oh well, things aren't what they used to be with service and quality anymore. Sad. :

The turkey burger which has been a staple in our repeat take outs was dry and tough and not tasty and seemed to be a totally different burger than the one we have ordered before both my husband and I had the same impression and experience more than once recently I called the manager who said they would get back to me but no one has. True Food has always been a favorite! hope they get that figured out!

True Food is one of my favorite places to eat. It is one of the only restaurants to try to ensure all of its ingredients are as natural and healthy as possible. They recently substituted (very toxic) vegetable oil with avocado and olive oil. I wish more places stopped using vegetable oil. True Food also has a fun and eclectic menu with plenty to choose from. You can't go wrong with the grass fed burger or wild salmon. A typical restaurant would serve industrial beef and farmed salmon at the same price.
