We love the zoo!! There are so many fun animals to see. Lots of pretty walking paths. It's an all day thing. There are also 2 splash pads which is awesome. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a stroller. I really wish you could still feed the giraffes. We went to zoo lights at Christmastime and I didn't think it was worth it. View all feedback.
What Carrie J doesn't like about Savanna Grill At Phoenix Zoo:
I was a bit disappointed. There's a lot of building south single pull doors that make it hard to maneuver with two toddlers in a double stroller. The walking paths are nice and very interesting, but the ponds were very green where some birds were. Lots of birds. View all feedback.
Loved my first visit! First thing I did was take the 20-minute Safari Tour. James our guide was great...very informative and gave me an idea of what areas I want to spend more time exploring. The parking fills up super quickly!! So, get there early!
Service could use a little work. MUST have chicken nuggets before you can ask for ranch or BBQ .
Very cool zoo, especially the Dinosaur Exhibit. Easy to get around, decent prices, when the family and I went, it was not overly crowded and the weather was perfect, a little overcast and not hot at all. If ur in the Phoenix area, it's worth stopping by.
Not bad. Overpriced but that's zoo food for you. I had the savannah burger and it was surprisingly alright. Service was at least fast. All of the children's oriented food is absurdly priced though $5 for a small bag of goldfish, $17 animal drinks, $10 kettle corn, etc...
Casual dining option at Phoenix Zoo. Order at the counter, pick up when called. Burgers and chicken fingers are your main menu items. It’s zoo food, so expect a mediocre tasting meal. Pricy for what you get, but again to be expected at an attraction.
