Contribute FeedbackWhenever you 're in the mood for a great nosh, Chompie 's is one of the best choices in town. Highlights include the bagels (of course , deli sandwiches, and of course traditional Jewish food. We like to order in for holidays or just a nice seder dinner now and again. Chompies makes it easy to do that, even on the busiest of holidays, and they will give you tons of personal attention when you order your family meal as well as an honest opinion (such as, no, that 's way too much, you don 't need it! . Our favorites? For the family dinner, its beef brisket every time, along with latkes (potato pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce on the side , matzo ball soup, challah bread, noodle kugel (or noodle pudding--and don 't DARE miss out on that , and hamantash and rugelach for dessert snacking. For every day eating, our kids love the pickle plate which is always out first. (And there are lots of GREAT options for kids here, by the way. We still stick with the matzo ball soup, and I always order Lovey 's Difficult Decision, a plate that includes noodle kugel, a latke, a cheese blintz, and kasha varnishkas. You cannot beat this plate if you love traditional foods like I do. But my spouse is a sucker for Grandpa Ruby 's Grilled Reuben, one of the mile high sandwiches. Any of their specialty sandwiches are top notch (if you don 't mind a pound, literally, of meat sitting in your gut for awhile , and this one is amongst the best. Don 't miss out on Chompie 's. Sure, they get busy, and you might not think that you should have to stare at a life-sized Liza Minelli while you eat, but trust me, it 's worth it.
