Probably the best Khmer restaurant in Phnom Penh,if not all of Cambodia, about 60 dishes on the menu medium sized meal $2 large meal $3 with unlimited amounts of rice, iced tea or water ,this restaurant is surrounded with huge trees and is very cool in all weather conditions, Restaurant 72 is found in street 123 Boeung Trabek Phnom Penh Cambodia A few minutes walk from Russian markets area) The $3 are huge then you add unlimited amounts of rice, Pork, beef, chicken, seafood or just vegetables all $2 or $3 per meal.
I love this place, whenever I wanna taste local food this is my place, cheap, fast and delicious
Food was very good and satisfying! Dishes are at $2 each and it’s enough so you can try the various Khmer cuisine cooked fresh and hot! $3 per dish if you really are hungry. Rice and tea are free flow, I’m so glad to find this kind of place still exists in the capital as usually this is normal in the rural cities with similar prices. 3 of us ate at $8 and were throughly full and satisfied. The quality of the food is also very good and delicious. Top notch and worth it. Just go and eat!
Brilliant restaurant serving tasty local dishes. All dishes are available in small size for $2 or large size for $3. We prefer to get 3-4 small dishes so we can try a bigger range. Rice is free, beer is cheap and cold, and staff are friendly. No negatives here, For Riel!
My only regret is that I have not discovered this place before. This is the best cheap restaurant in the world. PERIOD. I've tried many street side cheap local restaurants in Phnom Penh but nothing really impressed me, until I came here. I asked for the eggplants and minced pork at first and I loved every bite of it . Then I ordered the green mango with smoked fish salad, and it blew my mind, like probably one of the best dishes I've ever had. Michelin should come and try that!! Please make sure you order it. I couldn't stop, I ordered the stir fried spicy beef and it was also good. But the previous two dishes were the highlights. They serve free rice and the usual free ice tea Friendly owner, nice location. Prices only $2 for small dishes, if you are alone take the larger option if only trying one thing. The larger portion is $3. These prices can't be beaten I had much higher prices with lower quality. Don't leave PP before coming here
