Panera Bread - Phillipsburg
Panera Bread
Description
In recent evaluations of a popular Panera Bread location, patrons expressed mixed feelings about their experiences. While many diners praised the quality and selection of food, especially the soups and bakery items, they noted issues with portion sizes and consistency. Complaints centered around long wait times, missing ingredients in orders, and limited availability of menu items, particularly on weekends. Some reviewers highlighted the friendly staff and positive atmosphere, suggesting the importance of tipping for excellent service. However, frustrating practices regarding plastic dressing containers drew criticism. Overall, while there's potential for enjoyment, several operational aspects need improvement to retain loyal customers.

Help us save the planet—skip the plastic utensils! It’s ironic coming from a company that uses two plastic salad dressing containers for a single serving that could easily fit into one, especially since they only provide about a quarter teaspoon of dressing anyway. They should just fill the containers completely! The soup is pretty good, so I’d give it 5 stars. But because of the dressing container issue, zero stars for that. Also, the mac and cheese is incredible—I'd give it 5 more stars. Still, I can’t get past the dressing container problem, so zero stars there.
I really hope the owner and corporate at Panera Bread realize that charging over six dollars for such a tiny sandwich is unreasonable. The wait time in the drive-through was also awful. If Panera Bread continues to offer menu items this small, they risk losing many customers since this sandwich didn’t even satisfy my three-year-old son.
I really enjoy this Panera Bread location because they always prepare my food quickly and get my order correct every time. I encourage customers to consider leaving a tip for the dedicated staff, as it is always appreciated.
I went to the drive-thru and ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheese. Unfortunately, when I got to work and unwrapped my sandwich, I found there was no bacon, even though it was on my receipt. This happened twice. After the first mistake, I decided to give them another chance, but now I won’t be coming back for breakfast again.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant on a Saturday. They were out of several items, including bagels, cookies, chicken teriyaki bowls, water bottles, and bread. The line was lengthy, and the wait for the food was even longer. My chicken noodle soup bowl had hardly any chicken in it. I won’t be coming back to this restaurant on Saturdays.
