Staff tip: It's important to handle customer complaints gracefully, even if the mistake is on our end. It's disappointing that the staff at this bagel shop lack knowledge and have poor attitudes when trying to rectify orders. Friendly, fast and affordable breakfast. Always fresh bagels, try their lemonades!
Food is great but service can be so inconsistent. Some days I?m in and out but today I was late for work because it took 50 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches. If they hire more help I?d love to give them a better rating but understaffing and slow service is really something management should be addressing. If they can?t get anyone to apply, maybe try paying your workers more :
Extremely Rude. Terrible Customer Service I made the unfortunate mistake of stopping in here for a bagel when I was working up in the area. It was 2 PM and there were customers inside and outside still. The young man happily took my order and I went to go use the bathroom. A lady followed me into the men?s room and said I was only allowed to use the men?s room because of COVID-19 I said OK no worries. She told me to make sure I clean up after myself and I said OK no worries. I came out went to pay and the owner asked me if I flushed properly and cleaned up after myself. I said yes don?t you think that is a little forward of you to ask? And the woman followed me out of the bathroom to the front counter to pay. The owner then went to tell me that from going forward I should be asking if I should I could use someone?s bathroom not just assume . I told him not to worry that I will never come back to his establishment again. He said OK great. I?m sorry I ever walked in here when an unwelcoming and rude place
I almost choked on an entire coffee stirrer they just left in my coffee. Will never, EVER order from here again. I have never in my life ever had someone have the audacity to do something so careless to my food or drink.
I've been driving through Philipsburg for almost 20 years and I finally stopped at this bagel shop for the first time, it's the only Manhattan Bagel in the area and wanted to give a try. I'm not a big fan of this chain but it was a good experience, the staff was friendly and efficient, my order was taken and prepared right, not too busy to be a Saturday morning.
