We were sure that a mistake had been made... read more My family and I had a lovely meal at Filos. We had the 7 course banquet which was the most popular dishes on the menu. We were sure that a mistake had been made and they were bringing us the 10 course banquet as the food just kept coming.All the dishes were very Greek authentic and delicious.They supplied doogy bags and we have enough for a Sunday lunch The service was excellent, staff very attentive and friendlyI would highly recommend this restaurant, not fine dining but for the price is excellent value as well as good food.A P

I see that others have reviewed Fillos and have had a different experience to the Gumbys so if we return perhaps we'll go totally Greek as it is the Greek food... read more I see that others have reviewed Fillos and have had a different experience to the Gumbys so if we return perhaps we'll go totally Greek as it is the Greek food which seems to get the most praise.Mr Gumby chose the veal and I can only say that it was tasteless. It needed a decent jus or sauce. Mrs Gumby had the soup and the salted cod. She liked the salted cod but was not so keen on the soup.The ambience was spoilt by the indifferent greeting we got on arrival but I have to say that the person who appeared to be the restaurant manager was very friendly and welcoming.Perhaps they had an off day. Would the Gumbys return? Maybe.
