Some guests were disappointed with the quality of the food, with complaints ranging from overcooked steak to mediocre entrees and bland dishes. Others were pleased with the ambiance of the restaurant, as well as the service they received. Some customers had positive experiences with large group bookings, noting the excellent service and tasty pizzas. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a variety of opinions, suggesting that individual experiences may vary.
I don't understand where these people below with the bad reviews have gone but it was definitely not woden Bellucis. Had a great time with good service and good food!
Disgusting potato and leek soup, so salty we sent it back. Staff member taking our order was unwell and coughed and spluttered all over us without apologising. Penne overpriced and on asking was advised it came out of a packet as did most of the pasta except the gnocchi. Witnessed a staff making the pizza sneeze all over the kitchen. New female staff member appeared to not have been trained at all and was struggling, witnessed her trying to pour wine for patrons on next table with the lid on the bottle. Requested the affogato for desert and waited for some time for it to arrive only to be advised they had run out of Frangelico when I tried to cancel the order the staff repeatedly tried to persuade me to have the Baileys instead. On checking the bill we were charged $9 for bottled mineral water which we did not have. Was advised that the waitress was new and that this was the next tables order. Overall a very disappointing dining experience and completely unacceptable.
Average food at high prices. Great bistro environment and friendly service otherwise. Cuisine has Greek influence.
The building looked enticing, the decoration warm and welcoming. However, the reception was rather cold. I had a very mediocre entree with fresh ingredients but too much salt was added....luckily I didn't order a main....the wine was OK.
Attended with a party of 20, half went for banquet to make life easy..house dips that were ordinary but eatable to start the night. Then came the over boiled pasta with squishy steamed pumpkin pressed into cream that blended into a paste that should be sold as builders byproduct instead of a restaurant quality meal, arranci balls without cheese centres, pizza that could be likened to frozen food quality & salt pepper squid which was the pick of the night! Our table was also presented with oversalted chicken & rice stew that was labelled as "risotto". Lucky we had tepid table water to flush away the "vegeta" flavouring. The highlight of the evening was the busboy "waitstaff", 8 at least at hand without one brain between them. Had to attend the bar for drinks as that was not in their job description, half of our table was served with the banquet with the other half left to fend for themselves as food was dropped in front of those who did not order it. When this was raised with head waiter, the response was that was not their problem! Elevated the problem that "patrons were not being fed " to the chef/owner wearing the "grease monkey" tee shirt but again "it's your problem if you do not get fed. Btw that's $40 dollars mate! ".If your considering attending here, I would advise picking somewhere else to go especially to places who at least care that their patrons are fed with food that is prepared with consideration.
