Original drinks are off the hook. And the hostess and other girls very nice. Sam was waiting for us and we couldn't have asked for a better waiter. He was informed about the place, the food, the drinks, etc. Appreciate that. View all feedback.
What Aiden Lehner doesn't like about Winthorpe and Valentine:
The food was delicious and the service was great at this restaurant, but it was uncomfortably loud. We were seated by the window and it was both hot and noisy. We had to raise our voices to hear each other during our meal. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. View all feedback.
At winthorpe and valentine (a great name for a restaurant in philadelphia) is eating well, the ambiente is surprisingly elegant almost like eating in a living room with a beautiful bar and the service is wonderful. although the restaurant in the westin hotel is complex in the liberty place, locals should not hesitate to check it. the server and other employees, who are mainly concerned with the city guests, are kind and well trained. also an excellent place for a business lunch or for an informal but good evening meal or drink.
The butternut soup and salad with garnets were delicious! they said the cheese steak was also delicious. would come back.
Our meals were not that impressive but he service was wonderful.
Not even a hotel restaurant. Just some space set aside from the lobby with some tables and a bar. If you’re in the mood for bland room service food without the fluffy white bathrobe, this might be a good choice for you. Otherwise, avoid. No one would bring an actual client here for a “business lunch” unless you were taking some kind of bizarre pity angle.
Be warned, this is essentially a hotel lobby bar that just happens to serve passable food. We booked ahead and even called ahead and yet our arrival was a complete mystery. Why they needed to be on Open Table is another mystery. The bartender did double duty as the waiter. Just forget this place unles of course you happen to be staying at the Westin and are way to tired to venture out.
